Another incredible trip
Trip Date: May 12-19, 2025
Our recent mission trip to Honduras was a whirlwind of meaningful connections and impactful ministry, unfolding across three vibrant locations.
We kicked off with two days centered around Linares. The journey there and back framed our time, but the highlight was the delivery and assembly of a fantastic playground set—complete with large swings and three slides—at the local church on Tuesday, May 13. Seeing the joy this brought the children of Linares is unforgettable.
On Thursday, we traveled to Tegucigalpa for a dynamic two-day workshop, training new teachers to equip pastors using the BTCP curriculum (BibleTraining.com). This was a milestone we’d been building toward for months, and it was really wonderful to see it come together.
That same day, we continued to San Pedro Sula, pausing en route to visit an orphanage just south of the city. The children welcomed us with overwhelming love and excitement, a reminder that God has woven these precious lives into ours for a purpose—to walk alongside them, serve, and uplift them. We’re already eager for our next moments with them.
Friday brought a full day with our dear friends William and Doris, whose passion for training pastors mirrors our own. We spent hours sharing stories of God’s work and planning a July trip to the Miskito region of Honduras for pastor training—an adventure we’re thrilled to undertake together.
On Sunday, we returned to the orphanage, pouring out love and building deeper connections. We captured photos and videos to share this beautiful place and its stories with friends and churches back home. Plans are already in motion for a team trip to return—stay tuned for more!
Throughout the journey, we shared countless special moments with Joaquin and his family, our incredible friends and co-laborers in this mission.
Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and generous support that make this work possible. We’d love to share more over coffee—text me, and let’s connect about ministering in Honduras!
